The recent attempt to use levitation charms for presentation led to a frantic chase through the Academy’s main courtyard.

The annual bake sale for the Library Restoration Fund was off to a wonderful start until the frosting took flight. A well-intentioned levitation charm applied to the vanilla cupcakes proved slightly too potent for the afternoon breeze. Students were seen leaping through the air to intercept rogue confectionery.

Despite the sugary chaos, the event raised a record amount for the library’s new scriptorium. The organizers have promised that next year’s pastries will remain firmly grounded, or at least tethered to the tablecloths, to prevent another mid-afternoon chase through the academy courtyard during peak hours.
