A shimmering, floating tapestry drifting through a library aisle.

The ambitious weaving project from the Textiles Guild continues to drift toward the scriptorium, much to the chagrin of the more serious researchers.

Lys Arden spent the better part of the semester weaving a tapestry of enchanted silk, intended to depict the history of the Academy. However, the enchantment meant to keep the threads shimmering also keeps the entire piece hovering three feet above the ground. This has resulted in a localized breeze that frequently scatters loose parchment across the West Wing.

While the artistry is undeniably brilliant, the Library Committee has requested that Arden attach a few more heavy lead weights to the bottom hem. Until then, all students are advised to keep their bookmarks firmly pressed against their pages whenever passing through the North Gallery during study hours.
